On October 31st, we hosted the first of a series of five online workshops. The theme of our workshop was pandemics.

Dr. Rob Beiko, Computer Science, Dalhousie University, presented on genetic monitoring during the outbreak, and advances that occurred as a result of the event.

Dr. Kevin Quigley, School of Public Administration, Dalhousie University, and Professor John Quigley, Management Science, University of Strathclyde, presented on patterns of media coverage during the pandemic.
